Interview conducted by Alan Cherry as part of the LDS Afro-American Oral History Project by the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University on 9 June 1987. Brown talks about his early life in Meyanoke, Louisiana including his family life, his religious activities, and his school experiences. He discusses his marriage and his children. He describes his conversion to the Mormon Church and its influence on his life.
